1 win, 4 top 10s

Last two weeks: DNP – Wells Fargo, T30 – THE PLAYERS

Adam Hadwin continues his streak of solid play into the summer, and proving more every week that he truly does belong in the mix with some of golf’s biggest names. The 29-year-old is blossoming in his third year on Tour, and is riding a streak of 14 made cuts after missing one in his season opener at October’s Safeway Open.

There are going to be plenty of bumps and bruises along the way, to be sure. Hadwin had his worst finish of the year at the Valero Texas Open last month, with a weekend of 82-74 sending him into a tie for 72nd place.

Still, a T-30 at THE PLAYERS represented yet another year-over-year improvement – Hadwin tied for 30th at Sawgrass in 2016 after missing the cut in his 2015 debut – and his consistency is being rewarded.

Statistically, there are no glaring holes in Hadwin’s game. Ranked 21st in adjusted scoring, he won’t blow away many fields, but all the same, he won’t likely get blown out in any but the toughest tests in the game. Currently ranked 48th in the Official World Ranking, Hadwin will likely get those chances. If he maintains this position through the summer, he’ll qualify for both the U.S. Open and the Open Championship, and he’s already in for the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow.

Hadwin has a big summer ahead, and it looks like he’s ready for whatever that brings.
