5. 100ft Robot Golf

Yes, the name of the game literally is what it is. You’re piloting a 100ft robot that swings a golf club on its way to getting the elusive birdie.

There are numerous courses you can play on. You can tee it up in a city, in space, and even underwater. Oh, and along the way, you can take your giant robots and destroy buildings in your path.

100ft Robot Golf is a game of speed. You have a clock to monitor which means you need to get the ball in the hole as fast as possible. So no, you can’t take your time and look at a slope from five different angles for a tap-in putt. Hit ball, destroy buildings, hit ball again, hit putt, win (or lose) your hole. You can even knock buildings in the way of your opponents!

There’s even a story mode which has the look of a cheap 1990’s cartoon, which adds to the hilarity of the game. All characters have their own portion of the story and all have their own unique personalities and styles. There’s even one robot piloted by five dogs, which is pretty cool, and no, I’m not lying.

One of the unique ways to play 100ft Robot Golf is by using the PlayStation VR (virtual reality) headset. It’s the only golf video game currently where you can use it, so if you have one of the popular headsets and want a golf experience, it’s a solid game to play.
