Victor Dubuisson hasn’t hoisted a trophy since the 2015 Turkish Airlines Open and it’s time for him to take a run at the top of the leaderboard. While his 2-under par, T-24 finish last week at Wentworth didn’t impress, the three top 5s he’s recorded since last November let me know he has a championship-level game in his bag.

Can the Frenchman dig deep and find the game he was playing at the Nedbank Golf Challenge, the DP World Championship in Dubai and the Trophee Hassan II? I’m betting on it and looking for it this week.  Despite his fairly mediocre current playing stats – he ranks 201st on the Tour in driving distance, 79th in accuracy off the tee, 157th in GIR, and 47th in putting average – I know Dubuisson has game. I’ve seen it at work. His performance at the 2014 Ryder Cup was a sight to behold.

Can he deliver this week at Barseback? After his consistent and promising BMW PGA Championship performance I’m encouraged and looking for a top-10 performance to get him back on track.
