Memorial Tournament: 5 featured DraftKings picks

Matt Kuchar — $9,400
It feels like it’s been a while since we last saw Kuchar in the thick of a golf tournament on Sunday afternoon, but with the Memorial Tournament on the horizon, his next moment in the sun could be just around the corner. The Georgia Tech product has owned this event over the years, making him a sensible play in just about any fantasy format.
With a pair of top-15 finishes in his last two starts, Kuchar is back to his usual self after a rough performance at TPC Sawgrass. He’s been especially on with his longer clubs, ranking sixth in the field in strokes gained: off-the-tee at last week’s Dean & DeLuca Invitational. That’s definitely a positive sign as he heads to Muirfield Village, a course that’s been exceptionally kind to him in past seasons. Kuchar won this event in 2013 and has come close on numerous other occasions, so he’s got a real chance this week.
At $9,400 in DraftKings, Kuchar represents a significant investment this week, but you’d be hard-pressed to find a better track record at this week’s venue. He’s a near lock to find the top 15, and it wouldn’t be at all surprising to see him make a serious run at the title.
