FedEx Cup standings shuffle, while top four remain solidly in place after Colonial

As the calendar turns to June and the weeks count down until the PGA TOUR‘s FedEx Cup Playoffs, every single point matters. This week’s FedEx Cup rankings have some shuffling in the top ten, one newcomer to the rankings, and four dominant players on top.

Before we jump into the rankings, it’s important that we take a look at those just outside the top ten, to see who could make the jump with one or two good weeks. Last week, of course, Kevin Kisner took a big leap with his victory at the Dean & Deluca Invitational. There are plenty of strong contenders – and one major champion – who could easily make that same run.

For the first time in this column, here are our “honorable mention” players, ranked 20th through 11th.

20: Gary Woodland, 845 points

19: Mackenzie Hughes, 852

18: Wesley Bryan, 858

17: Brooks Koepka, 895

16: Billy Horschel, 914

15: Marc Leishman, 943

14: Russell Henley, 956

13: Justin Rose, 984

12: Sergio Garcia, 1001

11: Brendan Steele, 1062

That’s a healthy group of competitors, all ready to make their move into the top ten. There’s no room for error when it comes to playoff positioning.

That said, let’s get right into this week’s points race breakdown.
