8. Adam Hadwin

1,236 points, 16 events (77.25 avg.)

One win, four top-tens

Last two weeks: DNP AT&T Byron Nelson, T53 Dean & Deluca Invitational

The 29-year-old Canadian star has seemingly hit a roadblock in the month of May. Playing just two events, Hadwin had his first month of the season without a top-25 finish. It shows in the rankings, as he tumbled two spots this week, down to eighth place.

While it’s been a tough stretch, it would be premature to write Hadwin off just yet. The Canadian has still made 15 straight cuts since missing at the season-opening Safeway Open. There are also some bright spots on the schedule yet to come, including this week at the Memorial Tournament, as well as the John Deere Classic in July. Hadwin finished in the top 15 in both of those events in 2016 and will look to carry that into this summer.

There are still no glaring holes in Hadwin’s game that would hold him back – the upper echelon of the FedEx Cup has simply been that good this year. All it will take is one good week, though, and suddenly Hadwin can find himself making a huge leap in the standings.
