6. Pat Perez

1,381 points, 17 events (81.24 avg.)

One win, five top-tens

Last two weeks: DNP AT&T Byron Nelson, MC Dean & Deluca Invitational

All good things must come to an end, and this week it was Pat Perez’s streak of made cuts. The veteran returned from injury this season to make 15 straight cuts, with his withdrawal in Phoenix the only blemish. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to convert in Fort Worth, where matching rounds of 73 sent the 41-year-old home early.

Perez won’t let that keep him down for long though. He’s back in action this week at Muirfield Village. His last Memorial appearance was a T57 in 2015, but he does have some positive history to draw on, as he finished tied for eighth in 2013.

Perez has earned himself the respect of a couple of “off” weeks without the sky falling around him. With some of the players chasing him, however, Perez can’t let that go for very long. Chasers like Fowler, Sergio Garcia and Justin Rose are gearing up for a big summer, and no spot here is truly safe as the season wears on.

If you made me pick someone to drop out of the top 10 by the time the FedEx Cup Playoffs begin, it’s Perez, but he’ll have to get beat a little more often for that to happen.
