Who will succeed Daniel Berger as winner of the FedEx St. Jude Classic?

The St. Jude Classic has led into the U.S. Open on the PGA TOUR schedule for more than a decade.  Anticipation for the 117th U.S. Open is growing by the week, but before we get to the second leg of golf’s major season, we’ve still got one more event to enjoy, the St. Jude Classic. Held at Memphis’ TPC Southwind since 1989, it’s always a compelling test of skill.

The St. Jude’s position on calendar means that there are always several players who circle it as their final U.S. Open tune-up — this year, that group includes marquee names like Rickie Fowler and Adam Scott. For that reason, tournament organizers have taken to creating a tricky layout, featuring long cuts of rough and other challenges that may lay ahead for the world’s best.

Of course, it’s hard to tell what kind of tournament prep is best for a pressure cooker like the U.S. Open, and that’s especially true when it’s being held at a new venue. Still, be sure to keep an eye on your favorites this week — you never know what will influence their chances at Erin Hills.

Without further ado, let’s get to my projections for this week. Here are ten solid bets for success at the FedEx St. Jude Classic this week.
