Deep sleepers look to make an impact at the FedEx St. Jude Classic as the U.S. Open approaches.

The FedEx St. Jude Classic has long been one of the more popular stops on the PGA TOUR schedule. Held every year since 1958, in recent years the event has become a warm-up the week before the U.S. Open.

While that’s often true for the game’s stars, it also presents a unique opportunity for those whose futures aren’t so certain. Several golfers take the field this week at TPC Southwind hoping to earn entry to Erin Hills, or just to improve their chances of keeping a TOUR card for next year.

Let’s get started with this week’s top sleepers.
