Shanshan Feng is having a perfectly splendid season. In fact, GolfStat ranks her second on the Tour going into the Meijer LPGA Classic. That’s what a win and four top-10 finishes will do for you!

Feng has some interesting playing stats. She’s competent in every aspect of her game but nothing in particular stands out as a great strength. Yet she ranks 10th on the Tour in overall scoring, 69.71 per round. Feng has been competing on the Tour now for a decade and she has a smooth, well-honed, refined game and combines with a remarkably relaxed attitude toward competition. She stays inside the top 10 in the world rankings, and when she’s in the field, Shanshan Feng is almost always among the best.

I see Shanshan chugging her way to the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, tweaking and fine-tuning her game and getting ready to make a run at a second major championship title.
