Meijer LPGA Classic
Gerina Piller. Mandatory Credit: Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports /

There’s absolutely no reason that Gerina Piller remains winless in her 8th year on the Tour. Yet she remains winless, but that might be an advantage in a season that’s produced 13 different champions in 13 events. Piller hasn’t missed a cut all season, she’s recorded high finishes at her last two starts, the Kingsmill Championship (T7) and the ShopRite LPGA Classic (T12), and she’s coming to Blythefield rested and ready to get back to work.

Tee-to-green, Gerina Piller can keep pace with just about anybody on the Tour and we’ve all seen her make clutch putts when it mattered the most. Could this be the week she puts it all together? Her game is trending in the right direction and she knows the golf course. I’m looking for Piller to contend this week.
