Meijer LPGA Classic: Top 10 power rankings

Don’t let that pair of T60 finishes at the Kingsmill Championship and the ShopRite LPGA Classic fool you. With her win at the LOTTE Championship and four additional top 10s that included a solo 7th at the ANA Inspiration, Cristie Kerr is having a very fine season.  I’m looking for Kerr to use this week and next at the WalMart NW Arkansas Championship to get her weapons sharpened and ready for what’s coming at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.

Kerr has a mixed history with the Blythefield track, but keep an eye on her putting because that’s where she’s going to stake her claim. Averaging 28.48 putts per round, she ranked 7th on the Tour in wielding her flatstick to good effect. If she can get below that average this week, you’ll probably find Cristie Kerr lurking around the top of the board.
