Jordan Niebrugge (No. 970)

Wisconsin native Jordan Niebrugge will be playing his first U.S. Open after qualifying at the Lakewood, Washington sectional with a 2-under total of 140. He played the Masters in 2014 as an amateur and missed the cut but was low amateur at the 2015 Open Championship with a brilliant performance and tied for sixth.

Talor Gooch (No. 544)

25-year-old Talor Gooch was a teammate of Jordan Niebrugge at Oklahoma State and earned his way to Erin Hills in the 4-for-3 playoff at the Columbus, Ohio sectional. He has two top-10 finishes on the Web.com Tour in 2017.

Kevin Dougherty (No. 1927)

Of the six qualifiers from the Newport Beach, CA qualifier, Kevin Dougherty was the lone professional to make the U.S. Open field. Also an alum of Oklahoma State, the 26-year-old was a teammate of Rickie Fowler.

Ted Potter Jr. (No. 264)

33-year-old Ted Potter, Jr. will be teeing it up for the second time at the U.S. Open after missing the cut in 2013 at Merion. The left-hander won the Greenbrier Classic in 2012, his only win on the PGA TOUR, and made his way to Erin Hills via the Columbus sectional qualifier with a 9-under total of 135.

Daniel Chopra (No. 812)

  • 2016 U.S. Open: DNP

Sweden’s Daniel Chopra will be playing his third U.S. Open and his first since Torrey Pines in 2008. He has two wins on the PGA TOUR, his last coming in 2008 at Kapalua, and qualified via the Summit, N.J. sectional.

Meen Whee Kim (No. 172)

One of the last six players to get in, Meen Whee Kim was the first alternate from the Memphis sectional. The 25-year-old has been a professional for seven years and spends the majority of his time on the PGA TOUR. After missing five consecutive cuts, he played the weekend at the Memorial and has some momentum after tying for second at the FedEx St. Jude Classic this past weekend.
