Andres Romero (No. 798)

  • Last start: MC: FedEx St. Jude Classic (PGA TOUR)
  • 2016 U.S. Open: DNP

Playing in his fourth U.S. Open, Argentina’s Andres Romero earned his way into the field with a 9-under finish at the Memphis qualifier and has 18 worldwide wins to his credit. He has four top-10 finishes in majors but the last one was ten years ago at the Open Championship. His last U.S. Open finish was a tie for 14th at Chambers Bay two years ago.

Brice Garnett (No. 705)

  • Last start: T42: Rust-Oleum Championship (Web.com Tour)
  • 2016 U.S. Open: DNP

Brice Garnett last played in the U.S. Open in 2012 at the Olympic Club and missed the cut but he’s back for another try at Erin Hills after qualifying at Springfield Country Club in Ohio with a pair of 66s. After a successful rookie season in 2014 in which he qualified for the FedExCup Playoffs, he’s struggled a bit and now spends most of his time on the Web.com Tour.

Davis Love IV (No. 1927)

  • Last start: MC: The RSM Classic (2015)
  • 2016 U.S. Open: DNP

With his dad, former major championship winner Davis Love III, on the bag, Davis Love IV will be in the spotlight for the biggest tournament of his life this week at Erin Hills. He was the first alternate from the Ball Ground, Georgia sectional after winning a 2-for-1 playoff for the spot. He chipped in for an eagle just to get into the playoff and will now look to make a name for himself on one of the biggest stages in golf.

  • Last start: T-10: LYONESS OPEN (European Tour)
  • 2016 U.S. Open: DNP

  • Last start: T-80: FedEx St. Jude Classic (PGA TOUR)
  • 2016 U.S. Open: DNP

He has three wins on the PGA TOUR in his career, the last coming at the Sony Open in 2010, and got into the field as the first alternate from the Dallas sectional.
