Justin Thomas made some major championship history this past weekend, posting a 9-under round of 63 at Erin Hills on Saturday. Not only was it the lowest score in U.S. Open history in relation to par, but it shot him up the leaderboard after he made the cut one shot ahead of the number.

Things didn’t work out so well for Thomas on Sunday, as he fell into a tie for ninth with a 3-over round of 75, but it still marked his eighth top-ten finish of the year, and the third in his last four starts.

Thomas will get a chance to remedy any sore feelings at TPC River Highlands this week. He’s got little history at the Travelers Championship, with just three starts dating back to 2013. As an amateur that year, he tied for 30th on a sponsor’s exemption. He missed the 2015 cut, but came back with a vengeance last year, tying for third on the heels of a Sunday 62 – the same day Jim Furyk shot 58.

Thomas is known for his prodigious driving, especially considering his stature, but he’s made plenty of money on the greens in 2017. Thomas leads the Tour in birdie average (4.80) and putts per green-in-regulation, ranks 19th in GIR, and 14th in proximity to the hole. Assuming those trends continue, Thomas could easily pick up the win this weekend.
