Paul Casey — $9,700

The Englishman got off to a promising start at the U.S. Open, but he couldn’t take advantage of the favorable scoring conditions on the weekend, ultimately tumbling to the 26th spot on the leaderboard. It was a disappointing performance, but the bright side is that he should be plenty motivated to perform at TPC River Highlands this week.

Entering this week on a streak of six consecutive top-26 finishes, Casey has been getting consistent results over the past couple of months. He’s found the top 10 at a variety of different venues this season, including Augusta and Colonial, so his game should translate to just about any layout. Casey hasn’t been playing the Travelers Championship for that many years, but he’s wasted no time in establishing himself as a horse for the course, notching a solo second in 2015 and a tie for 17th last year. At third on the PGA TOUR in strokes gained: approach-the-green, he’ll give himself plenty of opportunities this week.

At $9,700 in DraftKings, Casey represents a cost-effective alternative to the big names in the field: McIlroy, Day and Spieth. Talented as they are, they don’t have a lot of experience at TPC River Highlands, and the Englishman knows this course like the back of his hand.
