Brian Harman — $8,900
With a pair of victories in his career, Harman was already one of the better players on the PGA TOUR, but last week’s U.S. Open served as his official coming-out party. Highlighted by a pair of 67s, his performance was good enough for a share of second place and his fantasy stock has risen accordingly.
With three top 10s in his last five starts, including his co-runner-up at the U.S. Open, Harman is in the right form to make something happen this week. That stretch also includes a victory at the Wells Fargo Championship and a tie for seventh at the Dean & DeLuca Invitational, so the former Georgia Bulldog has been chasing trophies with regularity. His track record at the Travelers Championship, while not without its blemishes, is pretty good: four-for-five with two top 25s, including a solo third two years ago. If he can continue to drive the ball like he did last week, he’ll have a big advantage over the field.
At $8,900 in DraftKings, Harman’s salary has jumped considerably — that inflation comes with the territory of contending at a major. But even so, the 30-year-old looks poised to provide fantasy value this week. Invest with confidence.
