It’s hard to imagine Keegan Bradley, a guy who won the very first major he ever played in, as a sleeper. However, the anchor ban has clearly taken its toll on Bradley, who hasn’t won a tournament since the 2012 WGC-Bridgestone Invitational.

In his six-year career, though, Bradley has never missed a cut at the Travelers Championship. He tied for 25th in 2016 and tied for 18th in 2013. Tee to green, TPC River Highlands suits Bradley’s game fairly well. He can still hit his share of fairways – he ranks 34th in driving accuracy – and when his putting cooperates, he can put up some low scores.

At this year’s Farmers Insurance Open, for example, Bradley ranked fourth in greens in regulation, fifth in putts-per-GIR, and 33rd in strokes gained: putting. The result? A tie for fourth place, his best finish in 2017. Even at the Shell Houston Open in April, Bradley finished in a tie for 15th while ranking just 56th in the field in strokes gained: putting. The talent is all there, it’s just going to take four straight days of putting it together for Bradley to break through.
