Graeme McDowell won here back-to-back in 2013 and 2014. That’s just recent enough to allow me to forget that the Northern Irishman hasn’t had a chance to win in the final holes in two years.

If made cuts help you out for fantasy, McDowell is still a reliable pick despite limited appearances in title contention. Once ranked as high as sixth in the world, the former U.S. Open champion still ranks No. 93 in the world, mainly thanks to 12 made cuts out of 14 this year. Despite not being in the hunt on Sunday, he’s still performed well, finishing outside the top 30 just twice in those 12 events in which he played the weekend, his best finish being a T-13 at the Omega Dubai Desert Classic.

The Open de France will be just his third start on the European Tour in 2017 and his first on European soil. Following his consecutive victories at Le Golf National, McDowell missed the cut the last two years.
