U.S. Senior Open
At 15-under par Kirk Triplett is going into the final round of the U.S. Senior Open with a one-shot lead over Kenny Perry, who’s chasing hard and within reach of the top of the board.
But the real story of the third round is Brandt Jobe, who carded a stunning third round 62, tying Triplett’s record-setting 1st round score. With that Jobe moved into solo third.
Some would say Jobe, who’s had more than his share of injuries, shouldn’t even be able to hold a club, let alone swing it.
What does Jobe say about his 3rd round 62?
"This was a good one. This one came at a good place, and at a good time."
Brandt Jobe has this moving day thing figured out.

Fred Couples, who says he can see retirement looming on the horizon, and Tom Lehman are going into Sunday in Salem sharing fourth place on the leaderboard but at 7-under and trailing Triplett by 8 shots, it would take a golf miracle for either of them to hoist the trophy this afternoon.
