Danny Lee won the most recent Greenbrier Classic, but does he belong in your fantasy lineup this week?

The 2017 Greenbrier Classic offers unique opportunities as well as strategic challenges to fantasy managers as they pick winning teams.

With just two PGA TOUR events remaining before The Open Championship, anticipation is beginning to mount, but this week’s event should be plenty monumental in its own right. This year’s Greenbrier Classic will be the first since 2015 — last season’s edition was cancelled due to catastrophic flooding throughout the state of West Virginia.

In some respects, this week will be a solemn one — there were dozens of casualties as a result of the flooding last year, and tournament organizers will want to honor their memory. That said, this week will also serve as a kind of celebration: of West Virginia, of the Old White TPC and of the Greenbrier itself.

As is typical of the lull period between the U.S. and British Open Championships, we’re not dealing with a particularly strong field here, but there are still some marquee names in attendance, including Patrick Reed, Bubba Watson and Phil Mickelson. But do any of them belong in your fantasy lineup?

Without further ado, let’s get to my picks for this week. Here are five solid bets for fantasy success at the Greenbrier Classic. Each player’s DraftKings salary is listed next to his name.
