David Hearn — $7,400

It’s been a while since we last saw this Canadian in the midst of a Sunday afternoon trophy hunt, but he’s managed to pick up some good results in 2017 nevertheless. With that momentum, as well as a bit of positive history at the Old White TPC, Hearn is shaping up to be a solid, cost-effective fantasy option this week.

Hearn has notched two top 10 finishes in his last three starts: a tie for 10th at the FedEx St. Jude Classic and a tie for eighth at the Travelers Championship. While he did shoot weekend rounds of 76 and 75 at last week’s Quicken Loans National, his other recent results are good enough to give him a pass on that putrid performance. It’s hard to deny his course history at the Greenbrier — with three career top 20s, including a tie for second in 2015, he knows the track and knows it well. This hasn’t been his best statistical season, but he still ranks 35th on the PGA Tour in driving accuracy.

At $7,400 in DraftKings, Hearn can provide an injection of course history into your lineup at a cost that won’t weaken your team elsewhere. Look for him to pick right up where he left off at the last Greenbrier Classic.
