John Deere Classic power rankings: Top ten at TPC Deere Run

Ranked just 121st in the Official World Rankings, Kevin Streelman is one of those guys who can fly under the radar far too easily. Don’t let that fool you this week, though, as Streelman heads to TPC Deere Run in outstanding form.

Prior to Sunday’s T29 finish at the Greenbrier Classic, Streelman had put together a run of four straight top-25s, highlighted by a T-8 at the Travelers Championship. Boosted by a Sunday round of 64 in Cromwell, it was the Duke alum’s first top-ten finish since the OHL Classic back in November.

Streelman has yet to qualify for the Open this year, but will certainly have his sights set on the top five this week. He does have a pair of top-tens (2009 and 2012) to draw on at TPC Deere Run. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see him contend again this weekend.
