Patrick Reed’s no stranger to a busy schedule. He’s on pace to match the 32 worldwide starts he’s made each of the past two years. The Texan is set to make his fourth in a row this week at the Scottish Open.

The first tournament after crossing the pond can be a challenge for American golfers, though Reed has handled it in stride throughout his career and enjoys playing a global schedule.

He tied for 10th at the 2016 Scottish Open a week after competing in the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational in the U.S. Reed’s also made the cut in his last four starts when on the back end of a major time zone change in back-to-back weeks.

Reed’s recent play trends upward with eight straight made cuts and four top-20s in his last four starts. With a T13 at the U.S. Open, the 26-year-old will have a lot of folks believing in his potential first top-10 in a major next week, if not more.
