WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, WV – JULY 06: Charles Howell III tees off the 14th hole during round one of The Greenbrier Classic held at the Old White TPC on July 6, 2017 in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. (Photo by Jared C. Tilton/Getty Images) /

Coming in at a slightly less expensive price, Charles Howell III should be a near lock for most daily fantasy teams this week. He’s a made-cut machine like no other at TPC Deere Run, having missed just one in ten career trips. In 2017, he’s on a streak of 15 cuts made, with five top ten finishes.

Tough run, huh?

Howell is hardly the guy you want this year in a driving accuracy contest, hitting roughly 55% of fairways in regulation. Put an iron in his hands, though, and it’s an entirely different story. Despite his driver woes, Howell ranks an impressive 12th on TOUR in greens in regulation, and 42nd in strokes gained – approaching the green. At 14th in adjusted scoring and 51st in par-breakers, Howell is more than capable of keeping up with the inevitable birdie barrage.

Averaging 71.7 DraftKings points per start (tops in the field), Howell is the perfect combination of moderate salary and an incredibly high ceiling. Base your team around Howell and watch the points roll in.
