Matt Fitzpatrick, €19.7m

Fitzpatrick is a bargain at this price. With his DP World Tour Championship victory in November the young Englishman established himself as fully capable of competing at the highest level of the game and he’s continued to deliver solid golf since Dubai.

At the Omega Dubai Desert Classic and again at the Nordea Masters Fitzpatrick delivered some fine golf, despite that missed cut at the Open de France.

Although he’s not particularly long off the tee, Fitzpatrick generally stays out of big trouble tee-to-green. Like Cabrera Bello, he is putting very effectively (SG: putting 0.899) and his consistent play on the greens promises points for the team.

If you don’t like Fitzpatrick, take a look at Brandon Grace, Russell Knox, and Martin Kaymer. They’re all in the same salary range and you might find one of them more to your liking, although I think Fitzpatrick is the better choice.
