Rafa Cabrera Bello, OWGR – 31

Cabrera Bello is poised to become the third Spaniard to notch a dramatic win this year. Seve must surely be smiling!

The globetrotting Spaniard who has a house in Bali because he enjoys surfing is also a very fine golfer whose game is trending toward a third European Tour victory. With PGA TOUR top-5s at The PLAYERS and the FedEx St. Jude Classic and the European Tour Hero Indian Open, his missed cut last week at the Irish Open should be quickly dismissed.

Cabrera Bello is bringing a stunning irons game to the Scottish Open. Keep in mind that amazing par save he delivered at the last at The PLAYERS. He ranked 14th on the European Tour in GIR and once on the putting surface, his SG: Putting (0.861) will give him what could be a critical edge. Given the demands of Dundonald Links, his short game will serve him well.
