Among the world’s golf courses, some of golf’s most iconic holes are also its shortest. Join us for this tribute to 10 legendary par-3s.

When we’re talking golf courses, the bigger is better principle doesn’t always apply. Sure, it’s amazing to see Dustin Johnson unleash a 350-yard drive on a 600-yard par-5. Sometimes, though, the true beauty of the game emerges from something a bit more nuanced. Of course, we’re talking about the par-3.

These par-3s aren’t just for your weekend duffer, however. Some of the sport’s most challenging, awe-inspiring, and just plain memorable holes are also the shortest. From the legendary to the extreme, when designers have less space to work with, their creativity can often go into overdrive, and the results can be spectacular.

Here, we’ll be looking at ten of the most iconic par-3 holes from around the world. Each brings its own unique design and challenge, and all have become major draws at their golf courses. Think of this as sort of a “bucket list executive course” if you will – a dream collection of some of the best short holes you could ever hope to get on.

Heck, most of us would be happy just getting on one of these tee boxes in our lifetime.
