Pebble Beach 7th hole best par 3s
PEBBLE BEACH, CA – FEBRUARY 11: A view of the seventh green during Round Three of the AT /

The view from the tee on No. 7 at Pebble Beach is incredible. You’ve got the Pacific Ocean, waves crashing on the shore. Maybe some soft, fluffy white clouds from the marine layer during an early morning round. Oh, yeah, and a green that looks like a postage stamp, with swirling winds making any player second guess a club selection.

This hole is officially the shortest on the PGA TOUR, playing between 94 and 106 yards, depending on tee location. However, its steep decline from tee-to-green, as well as the fact that most players are playing high-launching wedges from the tee, can make it a menace for the uninitiated, or just plain unlucky.

Despite that, the seventh is arguably the most beautiful hole on one of the most beautiful courses on the planet. It’s certainly earned both its TOUR legacy, and its place on so many golfers’ bucket lists.
