Canadian Open top 10 power rankings
If he’s not too exhausted from the Open Championship whirlwind, Kuchar could continue his strong form to get in the mix this week. That’s easier said than done, though, which is why I’m slotting him third.
Like Hoffman earlier in these rankings, Kuchar has done just about everything short of winning in 2017. Mr. Consistent owns six worldwide top 10s in 2017, including a T4 at the Scottish Open before finishing behind Jordan Spieth last week.
Kuchar was in the hunt at Glen Abbey at last year’s Canadian Open, finishing three off the pace in a tie for ninth. He tied for seventh here in 2015.
He’s not known to go crazy low and it may be tough for Kuchar to keep the pedal down all four days. Still, he’s proven he can get it done all over the world (ie: bronze medal at the 2016 Olympics) and will show up to give his best this week.
