We haven’t seen the best game at her 2017 LPGA starts that Mel Reid carries in her bag. I think she’s been adjusting to a number of changes as she toys with a move from the Ladies European Tour to the LPGA, but I’m looking for a much different Mel Reid to take the tee at Dundonald links.

This week I believe we’ll see the standout Solheim Cup player with the killer instinct and a game to back it up, the player who won the Oats Victorian Open and finished T5 at the Estrella Damm Mediterranean Open rather than the rookie dragging a string of missed cuts and low finishes up and down the fairway.

I’m not going to bother with Reid’s playing stats. They look dismal. I’m relying on her past record at the Ladies Scottish Open and her experience playing links golf to put her in my power rankings. Look for Mel Reid to play hard and play well this week.
