Matt Kuchar comes with a super-premium price at Glen Abbey, just days after his heartbreaking runner-up finish to Jordan Spieth at the Open Championship. While he may not have left Royal Birkdale with the Claret Jug, however, Kuchar is still going to be a strong contender for all your DFS needs this week.

Want to look at his recent form? He has three top-five finishes in his last four worldwide starts, and six straight top-25s. That may be good, but does he know how to get around Glen Abbey? Kuchar has been inside the top ten in each of his last three starts at the Canadian Open, including a runner-up finish in 2013. His scoring average in that run is just 69.167.

Kuchar is the second-highest priced player in the field this week, but I like the idea of targeting one premium player each week. It was a close call between Kuchar and Dustin Johnson in that slot for me – and you can’t really go wrong either way. However, when you get all that production, and an opportunity to save $800 over DJ, the value edge goes to Kuchar.
