Porsche European Open PlayOn fantasy picks

Romain Wattel has made 182 European Tour starts and is still on the hunt for his maiden victory, which doesn’t seem like much of a recommendation if you’re looking for a player to fill out your fantasy team this week.

However, at Wattel’s level I’m  interested in a player who’s likely to make the cut and help my team and the Frenchman fills the bill for me. In that respect, he’s having a good season, despite some recent misses at the Open De France and the Irish Open.

Looking at the longer record and working backward, Wattel played the weekend at the Scottish Open, the BMW International Open, BMW PGA Championship, and a long string of European Tour events through the late winter and early spring. He’s solid and he’s a value for the price.
