Charley Hall has come a long way since made her Solheim Cup debut at Colorado Golf Club, where the 17-year old defeated Paula Creamer in their singles match and then asked Creamer to autograph a golf ball! It was a precious rookie moment. For the record, the ever-gracious Creamer autographed the ball!

Here’s how Hull replayed that win:

Hull was Team Europe’s standout player in 2015 at St. Leon-Rot, winning all her fourball and foursomes matches and putting 4 points on the board for the Europeans. She’s played successfully with Suzann Pettersen, Carlota Ciganda, Mel Reid, and Jodi Ewart Shadoff, and there’s not a single member of Team USA she can’t defeat when she’s playing her A game, with the exception of Cristie Kerr.

The Americans need to beware of Charley Hull She’s relentless and isn’t easily defeated in a match play contest.

It will be interesting to see how Captain Sörenstam capitalizes on Charley Hull’s strengths.
