Paula Creamer will make her 7th Solheim Cup appearance in Des Moines. Creamer, who did not qualify by either Solheim Cup points or world ranking and was not one of Captain Juli Inkster’s two initial wild card pick, has been selected by Inkster to fill Jessica Korda’s spot on Team USA.

Despite her lackluster performance over the last 18 months, Creamer remains a solid pick to fill out Team USA’s roster. Her combination of Solheim Cup experience and Red, White, and Blue enthusiasm will boost team spirits in the locker room and on the golf course.

There’s still a solid, competitive game in Creamer’s bag that she can pull out and put to work when the stakes are right. Look at her Aberdeen Asset Management Ladies Scottish Open T13 finish, followed by her Monday performance on the Castle Course at St. Andrews, followed by her T16 at Kingsbarns.
