Wyndham Championship: Top 10 power rankings for Sedgefield
After missing six weeks this summer, including the U.S. Open, with a shoulder injury, Moore is back in the saddle.
He missed his first two cuts before tying for 28th at the no-cut WGC-Bridgestone and surging for a tie for 13th at the PGA with a Sunday 69.
Moore picked up his first PGA Tour win at Sedgefield in 2009 and tied for 10th in 2015.
Pre-injury, Moore hadn’t quite kept up with the pace set last fall that earned him the final captain’s pick on the U.S. Ryder Cup team. Still, he has pair of top-10s in 2017, including a T9 at the Masters.
At 25th on tour in fairway accuracy and 18th in proximity from the rough, Moore should have plenty of birdie chances one way or another this week.
