The Wyndham Championship is the last full-field event of the PGA TOUR season, and the options for your DraftKings team are plentiful.

The Wyndham Championship is one of the PGA Tour’s most distinguished events. With nearly 80 years of history at Sedgefield Country Club, some of golf’s biggest names have held the title of champion in what was once known as the Greater Greensboro Open. From Ben Hogan to Seve Ballesteros, and Billy Casper to Sergio Garcia, so many of the sport’s greats have triumphed in the heart of North Carolina. Of course, none did it better than Sam Snead, who won the tournament eight times between 1938 and 1965.

This week, of course, also marks the last full-field event of the 2016-17 PGA TOUR season. With the FedEx Cup Playoffs starting next week at The Northern Trust, this field boasts basically every player sitting on the Playoff bubble. It also makes it that much more important for Daily Fantasy players to spend a little more time on their lineup, in order to maximize every penny of potential value.

That’s where we come in.

Unlike what we saw last week at Quail Hollow (at least as it was set up for a major), Sedgefield typically rewards aggressive play. According to official PGA TOUR stats, last year’s field averaged over 13 greens in regulation, and 19 players finished at -12 or better. 2017 PLAYERS Champion Si Woo Kim won his first TOUR title here last year, tying the tournament record at 21-under.

You may not have come here for a history lesson, but when it comes to DFS, it always helps to know the trends. Armed with that knowledge, you give yourself every edge possible.

As always, this system is based on DraftKings standard leagues and salaries. Let’s get into the numbers.
