So many of this week’s top contenders are set with a premium price, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t value further down the list. That doesn’t mean you need to go all the way down to the bottom of the salary barrel, but it does mean you need to be willing to look in unconventional spots.

That’s where Rory Sabbatini comes in. The 41-year-old is currently 148th in the FedEx Cup points standings, and that should be more than enough motivation for him to push himself to the limit when it comes to aggression.

Sabbatini has made just 12 cuts in 21 starts this season. However, since an early departure from the Travelers Championship in late June, he’s made five straight, with four top-25 finishes in that run. He’s shown a propensity to go low, as well, shooting 62 in the third round of the Barbasol Championship.

In two previous trips to Sedgefield, Sabbatini has seen both ends of the spectrum. In his 2012 debut, he missed the cut, but he bounced back in his 2013 return, finishing tied for eighth with three rounds of at least three-under par.

Sabbatini is running hot right now, and even if it isn’t enough to get him into the Playoffs, he should be more than capable of helping your fantasy team score some points.
