HARTFORD, WI – JUNE 15: Jason Kokrak of the United States plays his shot from the sixth tee during the first round of the 2017 U.S. Open at Erin Hills on June 15, 2017 in Hartford, Wisconsin. (Photo by Gregory Shamus/Getty Images) /

Jason Kokrak is having a nice little summer. Since posting a 62 and placing fourth at the Byron Nelson in May, Kokrak’s made seven of 10 cuts.

He stuck around for the weekend at the U.S. Open (T53) and the PGA Championship (T33) and played well at the Wyndham Championship last week (T16) to help his chances of making the top 100 for next week’s Dell Technologies Championship.

Kokrak is another longball hitter (No. 18 driving distance) who will benefit from wide fairways this week (No. 122 driving accuracy).

It’s hard to say if this week will produce a grind or a birdie fest, but if it’s the latter, it could play to his advantage. Kokrak has his 62 at the Byron Nelson and a 63 on Saturday last week in Greensboro.

A win would make him the first Canadian to win a FedEx Cup Playoff event. Speaking of Canadians…
