The second leg of the FedEx Cup Playoffs, the Dell Technologies Championship, returns to TPC Boston this week. Who will find themselves atop our Power Rankings?

The FedEx Cup Playoffs have made the end of the PGA TOUR season appointment viewing for golf fans, not only giving a sense of closure to a nearly year-round schedule, but creating a level of drama unlike anything outside the major championships.

Dustin Johnson and Jordan Spieth certainly gave us a show to remember on Sunday at The Northern Trust. An epic playoff showdown between two of the game’s biggest stars is exactly what these Playoffs were designed to create. However, even for the two leaders in the points race, it’s right back to work, as only 100 players remain in the hunt for the season’s biggest prize.

While The Northern Trust moved to Glen Oaks this year with Liberty National preparing for the Presidents Cup, the Playoffs return to a familiar home this week. TPC Boston will once again play host to the second Playoff event, newly-redubbed as the Dell Technologies Championship.

Just as Saturday is “Moving Day” on the PGA TOUR, this tournament is basically where the true contenders for the FedEx Cup title typically separate themselves from the pack. Twice in the last four years, the champion here has gone on to claim the season title. Henrik Stenson made that run in 2013, and Rory McIlroy, a two-time winner at TPC Boston, did it in 2016.

Will Dustin Johnson continue his white-hot form through this week? Will Jordan Spieth find redemption from his blown lead? Or will another player push their way to the top of the heap? That’s where we come in.

Let’s take a look at this week’s Power Rankings.
