
The 2014 Czech Masters champion is rounding into form for this third career career Czech Masters start. The 41-year-old Welshman won two matches at the Paul Lawrie Match Play two weeks ago and was under par in all four rounds en route to a T-16 finish at the Porsche European Open.
It’s been a quiet season for Donaldson with only 16 starts up to this point in 2017, though after his bout with a chainsaw last summer I’m glad he still has the capacity to play golf with both hands still functional.

Donaldson hasn’t been able to replicate the success that landed him on the 2014 Ryder Cup team. With that said, he’s in line to potentially post a third straight good finish against a weak field at a course he knows fondly.
