Dell Technologies Championship: Top DraftKings Picks at TPC Boston
The FedEx Cup Playoffs roll on at the Dell Technologies Championship. As the field narrows, we’re helping find the right value for your DraftKings lineups.
And then there were 100. Well, 96, to be accurate. The FedEx Cup Playoffs move on to the Dell Technologies Championship this Labor Day weekend at TPC Boston. With the field narrowing further each week – and getting far more top-heavy – it’s more important than ever to fully optimize your DraftKings lineup. We’re here to help.
Not only do we have the best field in golf this week, we’ve also got one of the lowest-scoring events on the calendar ahead of us. TPC Boston has hosted this tournament – formerly the Deutsche Bank Championship – each year since 2003, and only one time in that span has the winning score been higher than 15-under-par. That honor goes to Olin Browne in 2005, two years before the FedEx Cup came into existence.
Five times, the winning score has been -20 or better, most recently in 2013, when Henrik Stenson tied the tournament record at 22-under-par. Stenson has withdrawn from this week’s field, but that doesn’t mean we don’t have plenty of talent to choose from.
As always, a few standard reminders. This column is based on DraftKings salaries and scoring, built for six-player rosters with a cap of $50,000. It’s not a traditional start-or-sit ranking, but players I think will add value to your team relative to their price. Your team, your calls. I want you to win, but not nearly as much as you want you to win.
There’s not much more fun in daily fantasy than a star-studded field, and that’s exactly what we’ve got here. Let’s jump into the picks.
