Patrick Cantlay, 25, is still basically a newcomer to the PGA TOUR. Even though he’s been battling injuries and more off and on for a while, the UCLA product seems to be fully healthy at long last, and he’s proving that his value remains high with each passing week.

It makes that much more sense, then, that we’d look to Cantlay in DraftKings play this week, with a seemingly flawless mixture of low salary price and high upside. Coming in at just $7,200 this week, Cantlay is priced significantly lower than the likes of Patrick Rodgers (eight of 20 cuts made) and Grayson Murray (14-for-24, 51.3 fantasy point average).

Sure, Cantlay has a limited sample size this year. He’s averaging over 74 fantasy points per start, but after the Northern Trust, he has just ten starts to his name. However, you can’t argue with his recent form.

In his tie for tenth at Glen Oaks, Cantlay led the field in greens-in-regulation, and ranked third in strokes gained: tee-to-green. His ten birdies were only tied for 49th in the field, but he offset that with just six bogeys, tied for fourth-fewest.

There won’t be many more chances for you to get Cantlay this cheap at this rate. Take advantage of the low number while you still can.
