Jason Kokrak is a popular play this week given his track record at TPC Boston.

The 32-year-old tied for eighth here in 2016 and tied for 16th in 2014 with seven of eight rounds at par or better. Mixed in there in 2015, though, are rounds of 76 and 75.

Kokrak has saved some of his better golf for late in the summer. The Canadian shook off an opening 75 at the PGA Championship to tie for 33rd. That preceded a T16 at the Wyndham and a T25 at the Northern Trust.

Kokrak is the 16th-longest on Tour off the tee and is pretty solid tee to green. He plays into the big hitter stereotype in that his putting is his downfall (187th in strokes gained putting). Like Varner, he may feel more comfortable this week moving his ball around the bentgrass greens dating back to his days in Canada and as a Xavier Musketeer.

I like the big man to make his fourth consecutive cut, and then some, this week.
