The BMW Championship is the penultimate event of the FedEx Cup Playoffs. With 70 players – and no cut – at Conway Farms, we’re breaking down your top DraftKings value picks.

The PGA TOUR season is soon coming to a close, as the BMW Championship begins Thursday at Conway Farms. It’s the final chance for players to move into the 30-player Tour Championship field, along with all the reward that come with it. It’s also one of the most unique events you’ll ever play in DraftKings daily fantasy.

This week’s field boasts 70 of the best players from the entire PGA TOUR season. Some are in better form than others, to be sure, but most of these players have proven themselves consistently over the last ten months. That makes it hard to find a true “sleeper” that you’ll want to plug into your lineup, but it adds a completely different strategy at the top.

Let’s get this out of the way: this is an ultra top-heavy field. Five players boast salaries over $10,000, and five more are over $9,000. As much as I’d love to field a team with Jordan Spieth, Dustin Johnson and Justin Thomas in it, the math says I simply can’t. So what do we do?

The BMW Championship has no cut, so just like the bubble-dwelling players who are pulling out all the stops to make the Tour Championship, we can get a little bit more aggressive in the middle and lower ends of our salaries. That’s the approach we’re taking as we look at some high-value players for the week.

Once more, my standard disclosures. The prices and positions I’ll be using are DraftKings standard tournament plays. Your site may have different prices, and you’ll adjust accordingly. I want your team to win, but not nearly as much as you do. And of course, this column is free – you get what you’re paying for. Hopefully more, but still.

Let’s jump into this week’s lineup.
