Only the fifth most-expensive player in DraftKings weekly fantasy golf, there’s little doubt that if you need to go ultra-high-end in your lineup, Thomas is the guy you want.

For starters, there definitely aren’t four guys I like better in this week’s field at Conway Farms than Thomas. Literally everything in his short game has been on point this summer, and it’s borne out by his recent results. With two wins and a tie for sixth in his last three starts, Thomas is in the zone, even with the pressure of the playoffs in full swing.

Better yet, with the way we’ve saved money leading up to this (always one of my favorite moves), Thomas gives us the superstar we want at a price that doesn’t cripple the middle ranks of our squad. For instance, with the five players we’ve taken in this column, we still have $7,900 leftover for our sixth roster spot to be filled.

When we’re talking about value, you can find plenty of longshots – Ollie Schniederjans, Kevin Na, and more come to mind – that could pay huge dividends.

According to official PGA TOUR stats, Thomas is leading the Playoffs in both scrambling and one-putt percentage. As long as he doesn’t completely forget everything he’s done over the last month, I can’t imagine a better player to build your Daily Fantasy team around.
