Ross Fisher is the highest ranked in the field in the Race to Dubai at No. 8 this week thanks to a scorching summer of golf.

Fisher’s is similar to Bernd Wiesberger with missed cuts coming in at the PGA Championship and Omega European Masters, but I’m not willing to declare him on any sort of skid.

Besides Justin Rose who does not play the European Tour year-round, Fisher is the highest on the RtD rankings without a win this season. It’s hard to believe that fact would last through the end of the season as he owns six top-10s.

Fisher shot a 66 in the second round at The Dutch en route to a T45 at last year’s KLM Open.

At 10th on Tour in GIR, I envision Fisher holding up well in the wind and rain this weekend and could break out against an average to slightly above average strength field this week.
