INCHEON CITY, SOUTH KOREA – OCTOBER 10: Branden Grace and Louis Oosthuizen of South Africa and the International Team celebrates on the 10th hole during the Saturday four-ball matches at The Presidents Cup at Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea on October 10, 2015 in Songdo IBD, Incheon City, South Korea. Louis Oosthuizen owns the best winning percentage on the team at .600.

That stat is aided by his chemistry with fellow South African, Branden Grace. As described on Grace’s slide, the duo went 4-0 in 2015.

The 34-year-old comes into the week with his game in pretty good shape as of late. His runner-up finish at the PGA Championship not only spawned one of the best videos of the year in the golf world, but also led to a T10 two weeks later at The Northern Trust and a T30 at the Dell Technologies Championship.

Oosthuizen did not qualify for last week’s Tour Championship and has only 17 tournaments under his belt in 2017, so he should be ready and rested for the week.

On the year, Oosthuizen also tied for second at The PLAYERS and has three other top-10s globally in 2017.

If not Adam Scott, Oosthuizen owns the prettiest swing on the team. He’s 42nd in total driving but also adds value closer to the hole at 29th strokes gained around-the-green and 22nd in SG putting.

Oosthuizen was a valuable cog in keeping the Internationals in it until the end in 2015. He hung with Captain America, Patrick Reed, to earn a half point from the first match of the day on Sunday.

The Internationals will look for Louis to play plenty of matches and will lean on his steadiness this week to try to land the upset.
