Turkish Airlines Open Top 10 power rankings
Henrik Stenson is a safe pick just about every week. He’s made 16 of 20 cuts in 2017 and is not far removed from his win at the Wyndham Championship in August where he blistered the course for four rounds of 66 or better.
The 41-year-old Swede also tied for second place last week at the WGC-HSBC Champions.
This will be Stenson’s first start at Regnum Carya. I envision him relying on his trusty 3-wood to put him where he needs to be off the tee and let his iron play lead him to a high finish. Stenson hit 71.9 percent of fairways on the PGA Tour last season and 69.07 percent GIR.
Stenson placed in the top 10 of the two Final Series events he teed it up at last year and appears poised for another good run down the home stretch.
Before the HSBC, Stenson took five weeks off after the TOUR Championships so he should be fresh for this week.
