Justin Rose is flying high from his comeback win last week at the WGC-HSBC Champions. The 37-year-old Englishman erased an eight-shot deficit on Sunday to win for the first time since last year’s Olympics.

That’s not to say he hasn’t been playing well lately. Rose is back in the world top 10 thanks to top-10 finishes in all five of his latest starts. His last 15 rounds have all been par or better.

This will be Rose’s first appearance at the Turkish Airlines Open since 2013 when he tied for third place at the Montgomerie Maxx Royal.

While it can be tough to play well again the week after a win, Rose entered the HSBC with four weeks off, so he should have enough stamina to keep the pedal down.

Last year’s winning score was a sizable 20-under-par. Rose was eighth on the PGA Tour in birdie average last season and 14th in strokes gained off-the-tee.
